Niall's Buddies

Niall's first friend is nearing one year, which means her mommy is going back to work. Our nurse/mommy playgroup met to give Jen a send off. My year is also quickly coming to an end, but at least I've got the summer! The babes are all growing so fast. Jordan in the middle is crying because Niall stole her toy as soon as they sat down!

First Haircut

Well, another first for Niall. A haircut, as it was getting to be a bit out of control and in his eyes. We took him to Daddy's hairdresser and he was good just long enough for his cut, then home and into the bath to get all the little hair bits off of him. He looks like a real big boy now!

Mudge Island Mayhem

We finally got over to Mudge for the first time in over a year...pretty pathetic since it's only a 7 minute boat ride away. We left Niall at Grandma Lynn and Grandpa's and were picked up by Bec and Wade in the Thunder Jet. The girls stayed at the cabin on their own, of course within cell phone range though! We spent an awesome afternoon in the sun in the boat and on the beach with some coolers and beer, then enjoyed a feast of Mudge Island oysters wrapped in bacon...mmm. Han, Syd Bec and I now have matching wetsuits to make our swimming on the coast a bit easier, the water was only 59 degrees! The Easterbrook's made it over to show off their new aluminum boat, a real beauty!

Our Boy

Just a random sampling of our precious little boy, who's ten months old now!

Newcastle Island

We ventured over to Newcastle Island on June 1st, weather wasn't perfect but we did get some glimples of sunshine. It's like an oasis over there, only minutes from downtown...plus we don't need to use a lot of boat gas!

The Farm

My mom, Niall and I finally made our trip to Oliver to see Great Grandma and Grandpa and Auntie Laurie and Uncle Geoff. Love the Okanagan weather, 27 degrees and sunny!!! A far cry from the 12-14 degrees and rain that we left behind on the coast. Niall was the energizer-baby, preferring not to nap or sleep too long at night for fear of missing out on anything. Great Gram even had a sleep over with us at Auntie Laurie's. We had a wonderful day following...taking a trip into the big city of Oliver for some "Main Drag" shopping, then to Tickleberry's for a huge ice cream cone. Niall even enjoyed a bite! Thanks Uncle Geoff for your awesome cooking! It's like staying at a bed and breakfast...for free!!!
