May Long Weekend

We ventured out to the cabin for our first May Long Weekend with Niall. The cabin was filled to the brim with parents, kids and dogs, but that's what makes it fun. Scott planned his annual Treasure Hunt...another first for Niall!!! Once again it took place at Creepy Island, which really isn't as much creepy as it is paradise as you can see from the pictures of the beach...and only a few minutes from the cabin. There were 16 of us there for the hunt, a few drinks and hot dogs on the fire. Then it was back to Jen and Twig's for deep fried turkey and some more cocktails by the fire. And unlike past May Long Weekends with the Barsby's...the rain actually held off until Monday!

Niall and Friends

We live in a neighborhood with a few babies around the same age as Niall, he will go to school with Rian, the little girl on the left. From left to right...Rian, Niall, Jett and Taylor. Niall is the oldest (9 1/2 months), then the girls who are both 6 1/2 months and little Jett who is two months old.

My First Mother's Day

Niall was all dressed up in his finest to wish his Mommy Happy Mother's Day!

Summer Sun

Sunshine and warm days have finally come upon us. Niall loves the grass and is very adept at getting himself across the yard in seconds, complete with grass stained knees. He is a typical little boy who seems to be able to find dirt anywhere!

Best Friends

We finally got a chance to hang out with Beck and Wade...she has far too many school commitments! We enjoyed an awesome sushi dinner with the kids, some lovely wine(pink of course), poker and a hot tub...ahhh just like old times!!!!

I'm Up!

Niall has mastered his latest trick...standing up. He started to pull himself up in his crib at 8 months and 3 weeks and now at 9 months is pulling himself up on all of his toys and on the furniture!!! I think I'll have a mobile little guy on my hands soon.
